ORGAN

Our organ is arguably the oldest surviving church organ in England and was beautifully restored in 2005-6 by Goetze and Gwynn. Organists from all around the world come to London to visit this fine instrument and we hold regular organ recitals as part of our Wednesday lunchtime recital series.

There is a brief history of the organ can be found on the Goetze and Gwynn website. In addition, there is a booklet available at the back of church with further technical details and an outline of the restoration approach.

PIANO

In March 2018, St Botolph’s purchased a Schimmel Konzert K213TX after a successful fund-raising campaign. It is one of only three instruments of its type, made to a particularly high specification by Schimmel. The piano is now used at our concerts and services, and is a great asset to the musical life of the church.
